We are now staying with our good friend Darlene in Osaka. Out of any harms way.
I wanted to post some pictures we took in Matsushima Bay, 4 days before the earthquake struck.
We are not sure how badly affected it was by the tsunami, but its neighbouring coastal towns have been destroyed.
We will always remember Matsushima as a beautiful bay with calm forests, curious islands and blue-chocolate coated bananas.

We are okay!
Mirabel and I are okay. Our area of Sendai was not badly damaged by the earthquake, and we are in no immediate danger. Please don't worry!
