I wanted to post some pictures we took in Matsushima Bay, 4 days before the earthquake struck.
We are not sure how badly affected it was by the tsunami, but its neighbouring coastal towns have been destroyed.
We will always remember Matsushima as a beautiful bay with calm forests, curious islands and blue-chocolate coated bananas.

Really, you guys left too? I'm beginning to think my roommate and I are the only foreigners left in Sendai. Hope you have fun in Osaka.
There are about 30 ALTs left in Sendai. You are not alone! :)
